Sales/Pricing
Does Exclusive Furniture sell items other than those that I have seen displayed at the store?
Yes, We carry a wide selection of vendors and offer their entire line; however, there are too many items to keep on the sales floor at once. You may come in and the salesperson can let you look through our extensive catalogs (narrowing them down for you if necessary). Some of the items which we do not stock on the floor are available that day, the next day, and at most are a special order.
Why do I have to pay up-front for special order items?
A special order item: is any item that we do not/or would not normally carry in stock, are currently out of stock, or is specially ordered for you. The reason that we require up-front payment is to ensure that you, the customer, wants the merchandise.
Does Exclusive Furniture issue backorders?
At the customer's request, items that are not in stock but wanted by the customer can be backordered.
If a special sale is going on and all quantities have been sold may I request a rain-check?
Usually due to the nature of the sale, all advertised specials are while quantities last; however, at the manager's discretion a rain-check can be offered in some instances to allow a customer to purchase an item not in stock at an advertised price.
How do I get a hold of my salesperson?
The contact page has telephone numbers, addresses and email addresses for all of our stores which you may use to contact your salesperson.
Do the salespeople receive commission?
In order to promote the best possible customer service, the salespeople do receive a percentage earnings off of sales.
Purchasing/Financing
Does Exclusive Furniture offer in house financing?
Exclusive Furniture offers many finance programs and layaway for those that do not wish to finance their furniture.
Are there any 2nd chance / no credit check financing programs available?
Yes, if you have bad credit or no credit at all Exclusive Furniture will work with you to get approved for the financing of your furniture.
I opened a Layaway and then was approved for financing, may I use the financing to pay it off?
Under certain conditions and guidelines, yes a layaway can be paid off with financing.
How long does it take to do a credit application for financing?
In most cases filing an application to getting approved is only a few minutes.
May I fill out a credit application online or over fax?
If you call a store, we would be happy to fax you a credit application. We will soon add the functionality to file your credit application online or print online and fax in.
Is the online version of the credit application secure?
All credit information collected from our customers online is secure and encrypted. Please see the Privacy Policy.
Layaways
How long is your layaway plan?
Six (6) months is are standard layaway time frame; however, at the discretion of a manager the layaway period may be extended.
How do I make a layaway payment?
Currently, we request that all layaway payments be made at the store that the invoice was recorded. In the near future we hope to serve you better by allowing you to go online to view/pay your account.
I paid off my layaway, when do I receive my furniture?
Please speak to your salesperson or the store manager for the most accurate response. Depending on the furniture ordered you could receive your furnishing the day of payment or up to three (3) weeks later.
What forms of payment can I use with a layaway?
We accept all legal tenders for layaway payments including financing.
What is the minimum payment amount for my layaway?
Minimum amounts are at the discretion of the salesman/store manager; however in many cases we do not require a minimum weekly/monthly payment.
Delivery/Pickup
May I change my delivery date or time?
Yes, please call the store that you purchased from and have your name and invoice number ready.
May I pick up my furniture instead of having it delivered?
Yes, you have a large number of options including pickup of your furniture. Please see our delivery policy.
Special Orders
What is a special order?
A special order is considered to be anything that we do not usually carry in stock, is currently out of stock, or ordered per your request/criterion.
How long does it take for a special order?
Special orders, depending on the merchandise ordered can be filled as early as the same day, next day, or in the usual circumstance 2-3 weeks. Please see a sales associate regarding your special order for the most accurate information regarding your order.
Internet Purchases
May I purchase the furniture online from the website?
Currently, No. However, the option to purchase furniture, pay payments, and check status will be arriving at a later date.
Warranty
Does my furniture have a warranty?
Yes, we are authorized retailers for all of the items we sell, and therefore the furnishings you buy are covered under a manufacturers warranty.
Does Exclusive Furniture offer an extended warranty/protection plan?
Yes, please contact your salesman and he would be happy to explain/demonstrate and quote you our protection plans.
